From 3 to 6 September, the tranquil little town on Lake Como was all about Moto Guzzi’s 105th anniversary: more than 60,000 visitors from all over the world attended the GMG – Moto Guzzi World Days 2026, many of them on their own motorbikes. Alongside the anniversary celebrations for the long-established Italian motorcycle manufacturer, its new home also opened its doors for the first time. The newly designed site combines a museum, the new factory building complete with production lines, the Motoplex Store for buying motorbikes, merchandise and accessories, as well as the historic, restored wind tunnel and a café. Around 60,000 people visited the new Moto Guzzi headquarters, with the museum recording just under 30,000 visitors. With a parade of 1,500 motorbikes, prominent guests from the MotoGP world, free test rides and a varied programme of events, the four days turned into a huge celebration entirely in the spirit of Italian passion.

Day 1 – 3 September: A spectacular start for the new Moto Guzzi headquarters
Thousands of visitors streamed through the famous red gate onto the new site in Mandello del Lario on the first day of the anniversary celebrations. Guzzisti from all over Europe, motorcyclists, families and groups of friends explored the new museum, the production facilities, the Motoplex Store and the spacious grounds. Street food, the Virgin Radio stage and free test rides across the entire model range ensured a successful launch. The new site combines culture, creativity and entertainment and is open to visitors on Mondays and from Wednesday to Sunday.

Day 2 – 4 September: History, motor racing and a new home for the future
The large crowds continued on the second day. The trophy room, the historical archives and the restoration workshop were of particular interest. The new site is more than just a place of production and remembrance: it creates space for ideas, experiments and new experiences, and combines a passion for Moto Guzzi with a clear vision for the future. This is evident not only on the factory premises, but throughout the whole of Mandello del Lario. The local community clearly displayed the pride they feel in the brand and its history. From cafés to supermarkets and shops, right through to the village church – everything lives and breathes Moto Guzzi.

Day 3 – 5 September: Parade featuring 1,500 Guzzisti and nearly 30,000 visitors
Nearly 30,000 people came to Mandello del Lario on the third day. The highlight was the grand parade featuring 1,500 Moto Guzzis from all eras and model ranges, led by the Corazzieri (Carabinieri, the Italian President’s bodyguard) on their official California 1400s. They were followed by Moto GP leaders Jorge Martin, Marco Bezzecchi, Lorenzo Savadori and Max Biaggi on Moto Guzzis. The Aprilia MotoGP stars greeted the Moto Guzzi fans from the Virgin Radio stage. Thousands of visitors also toured the new museum and the factory, and took the opportunity to enjoy free test rides on the Stelvio, V85 and V7.

Day 4 – 6 September: Mandello del Lario writes the next chapter in Moto Guzzi’s history
