moto-austria demonstrated once again in 2026 that interest in and passion for motorised two-wheelers in Austria remain as strong as ever. More than 65,000 visitors flocked to the 28,000 m² exhibition site over the three days of the show to find out about the new products for the coming season. As always, Faber GmbH was there with a fantastic team.

moto-austria once again impressively confirmed its status as the leading trade fair for the Austrian two-wheeler industry in 2026. With a fully booked exhibition centre, numerous model launches and an enthusiastic international audience, Wels once again became the hotspot for motorbike, scooter and moped enthusiasts.

More than 65,000 visitors came not only from all over Austria, but also from neighbouring countries, including Bavaria and the Czech Republic. The large crowds and the palpable positive atmosphere underscored the fair’s growing importance far beyond the country’s borders.

Exhibition director Robert Schneider drew an extremely positive conclusion, describing the event as one that had exceeded all expectations. moto-austria has established itself as the industry benchmark, where the who’s who of leading brands comes together for a diverse programme of events. Particularly encouraging, he noted, was the strong momentum among young visitors and the growing interest in mopeds, scooters and urban mobility topics.

Karin Munk, Secretary General of Arge 2Rad, also emphasised the event’s great significance for the entire industry. She noted that the high visitor numbers, the exhibitors’ strong commitment and the positive atmosphere were a clear sign of a successful start to the upcoming motorbike and scooter season.

With around 205 exhibitors, including over 25 new exhibitors, and an exhibition area of around 28,000 m², moto-austria 2026 has once again established itself as a true heavyweight in the two-wheeler sector. Initial discussions and planning for future editions are already underway – because, as the saying goes, the end of one trade fair is the beginning of the next.

The next date has already been set: moto-austria 2027 will take place in Wels from 5 to 7 February 2027 and will once again provide a platform for innovation, trends and enthusiasm in the world of motorised two-wheelers.
